Opinion: What is the most frequent cause of dry eye amongst patients you have treated? Sjögrens and age related tear insufficiency. Do you have a dry eye "hot button" - for example, is there a condition you feel is often overlooked or misdiagnosed, or a treatment you feel is sometimes used inappropriately? Exposure is often overlooked, particularly nocturnal lagophthalmos (night time eyelid opening). What makes you exceptionally well qualified to help dry eye patients? I have seen many thousands of patients with this condition and adopt a well rounded and compassionate approach to them. What are some of your favorite products for dry eye (Rx, OTC, consumer)?
